		<description>Re: Watering lawns and the price of water. I think a mix of incentives to encourage responsible use of our resources is required rather than just pricing. 

In a perfect world the community needs to understand the water equation and their own personal impact on finite resources and the catchment.

In the house / community garden or lawn situation there is the option of choosing more water efficient plant species, making use of recycled or water caught locally.

Peronally I am nervous about using pricing and the private sector to drive best practice resource management and am more comfortable with encouraging and rewarding informed communities and individuals to behave responsibly.

		<description>I agree, water is far to cheap, especially to waste, I have been reuseing my waste water for over 5 years, All wates water is directed to my lawns.
